Dr Kornbluth has been the MGH Site Director of Cardiology and the CICU since 2003. He arrived on staff in the Division of Cardiology at the MUHC in 1999. Upon graduating from the Western University medical school in 1991, he completed residencies in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at McGill University. A one year clinical echocardiography fellowship at Western was followed by a 2 year clinical and research fellowship in echocardiography at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California from 1997-1999 before he returned home.

Dr Kornbluth's main passion is the practice of general clinical Cardiology and echocardiography and teaching the pathophysiologic basis of cardiac disease to house staff and medical students both at the bedside and in the classroom.
