Dr. Maurice Mcgregor
Dr. Maurice McGregor trained in medicine in Johannesburg, South Africa and following service in WW2 with the British 8th army and the US 5th army (1943-46) he trained in cardiology in London, England. He joined the Royal Victoria Hospital and McGill University in Montréal in 1957, where he has served as Head of Cardiology, Head of Medicine, Dean of Medicine, and Vice-Principal, Health Sciences. He was the Founding President of the Conseil d’évaluation des technologies de la santé of Québec, and Founding Chair of the Technology Assessment Unit of the McGill University Health Centre. He is Professor Emeritus of McGill University.
